I love this man. He is wonderful, he is a great president. But a good portion of this country hates him. They have a williing press, willing to destroy him slowly with a thousand cuts. They are doing it before our eyes with their insinuating questions, their lies, their rank distortions, it is incredibly horrible to watch. I think he is kicking butt but I am afraid of the response of the public, the stupid lazy public.

I think the strategy is to let the press make asses out of themselves.... ;)

Dang - he's been up there almost an hour. He needs to wrap it up - this has got to be excruciating for him, sensing the hostility from 90% of the people in that room.

But a good portion of this country hates him. A very small very loud portion of the country hates him, and they run the media.
Are you old enough to remember Reagan? Same thing. Then he annihilated Mondale in November 1984.

The public will eat this up and despise the press.
Trust me.
Even CeCe says he did well and refers to "the strength of this man as a leader"
