At the least he was a useful idiot. It's been proved that VVAW and groups like it received funding from the KGB and GRU through blind front groups, and that there were members of these groups that were soviet agent provocateurs.

He is not the ONLY one in the democrat party that I suspect of being a mole. Where was Bill Clinton during the Viet Nam war when he was supposed to be at Oxford? One has to wonder knowing their politics!
