Thanks, Liz! Maybe we should have a thread documenting Kerry's history of alliance with secularists. Early in his career before he was with VVAW Kerry worked on the staff of Fr. Robert F. Drinan, a pro-abortion Jesuit who ran for political office despite being forbidden to do so by the Vatican. Drinan was at that time dean at Boston College Law School; Kerry's later actions supporting the Sandinistas against the Contras were coordinated with the liberation theology movement, which has a strong presence at Boston College (for more on liberation theology and its political ties, see

I'll put your post on the Kerry Dossier thread which is an accumulation of everything Kerry.
However, I like the idea of a Kerry-secularist thread. This issue more than any needs to be promoted continuously.
