This is my translation of some pertinent parts from this article (the rest of the article is a recap of the police investigation).
I thought the information about once again using commonly available items for terrorism might be of interest. Obviously, it's harder for terrorists to order parts the way they used to, so they've found an alternative means of supply, something that's so ordinary that it's below the radar.

In other words, they scavenge parts from ordinary household Western kitchen appliances because they cannot make the needed simple, basic parts themselves. I can hardly wait until their oil runs out. Then there will be no reason in the world not to wipe them from the face of the earth.
