What a waste of a brilliant Condi Rice's time to even speak to Bob Kerry. Like casting pearls before swine.

American Military Personnel are dying today and one of the best minds in government is answering questions of this group.

The Founding Fathers knew what they were doing when they set up the three separate branches of government.

I have listened only to today's hearing. Was Mogadishu discussed in earlier testimony? If so to what effect?

I'm just shaking my head here. I am glad this is over! But I guarantee you, they didn't treat her like this behind closed doors!

The two terrorist who flew into the pentagon lived approx
5 miles from where I am sitting and one was listed in the
phone book. So why didn't Clinton pick them up.

Clinton had 8 years. Bush had 8 months with tons of
Clinton holdovers.

Clinton blew off the bombing of the '93 world trade center
and other terrorist attacks.

This was a witch hunt, the left wing trying to play
gotcha. All their slime doesn't cover the fact that
Clinton is responsible for 9/11

Dr. Rice countered all the allegations with carefully reasoned explanations that included their own verbal footnotes for reference. It is better to erode terrorism from underneath rather than let them call the shots. We'll never know how many lives have been saved through this quietly effective policy and this administration will never be recognized for that feat. The Democrats, on the other hand, spent years purposely undermining the power and capabilities of the CIA and hampered the FBI by apponting the politically-dominated Louis Freeh. Only now, when the fruits of the Democrat's efforts have resulted in tragedy, these people refuse to recognize their responsibility in what occurred and seek to pin blame where it doesn't belong.

That he FOKs (Friends of Kerry) had packed the gallery with 9-11 relatives, whom they have spent great effort to twist their grief for vile political fodder, represents the depths of depravity the Democrat Party operate in.

From a cube dweller.. thanks for the chatter.

I heard the broadcast from 6:30 to 7:15 in the car. Almost ran off the road when the applauding started. Just goes to show what a circus this really is.

Tell me.. will they bring in the Kennedy clown to balance a JD bottle on his nose?

Was Mayor Willie Brown called to testify why he was warned not to fly to New York on 911? He told the papers in San Francisco that Rice warmed him?

Below is a list of the commission members and a brief bio for each (as asked for earlier).

I wasn't able to watch the hearing today. Was it the home run that we hoped for or at least a ground rule double? The info is from http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,116545,00.html

As I predicted ( it was not hard ) this is a loser for us.

The media and the Dems are singing from the same page: The Aug 5 memo is the smoking gun.

Coming from a totally different point of view, I just heard how the Federal Government of the United States has failed totally and miserably as an effective leadership body. The partisan idiocy that the democrats spewed forth is just typical of the problem. But to me it goes much deeper than that. The alphabet soup of federal agencies who we support with God knows how many billions of tax dollars is so entrenched and so politcally connected they're literally impossible to reform or be held to account? It takes a catastrophic event such as 9/11 to even call these agencies into question? That's beyond pathetic.

I have a ton of respect for Ms. Rice and I think she held up very well. This however is NOT the "non-partisan" hearing that the American people need and deserve to have. Until Clinton and algore testify, this will never be complete nor just nor accurate. Clinton has a TON of things to answer for....but of course, then the Republicans on the committee will turn into attack dogs, just like the democrats did today.

As an American, I'm totally disgusted by what I saw today. I don't come to this conclusion as a loyalist either. I'm just another citizen who is totally digusted with the blood sport of modern politics and the mindless "us vs, them" mentality that its' become.

At this current rate, I really fear for this Republic.
