I wonder...
Has anyone given consideration to the strategy of stepping back, and allowing the radical lunatics in Sunni/Shia/Kurd warring factions to "have at it" with one another for a few months --- without attempting to pull them apart?
Shouldn't we consider allowing a mini-Civil War within Iraq and let the crazies kill one another until they have been bled white and willing to try OUR PLAN?
It seems there are too many Iraqis with unsatisfied bloodlust -- and SOMEONE will have to kill them, sooner or later..
Better now, than later.....better Muslim lunatic killing Muslim lunatic than Americans.

Contrary to what people like JK and Wes Clark say, we actually do have a plan.
However, this, combined with what happened in Fallujah the other day, indicates that things may be heating up in a way that we did not foresee.

"assailants later regrouped in three clusters outside the base as the shooting continued for several hours". Am I a military genius OR does this sound like a !@#%%
TARGET to anybody with "gunships circling overhead" ? Bush is losing it on this past week if he let's his handlers keep him in the closet.
We DO need to let this go into a 3 part civil war and strengthen the weakest (which is probably the Kurds right now).

I thought it seemed nice that the Iraqis were able to demonstrate (probably for the first time in their lives for some), but when they use violence, that wouldn't even be accepted in the U.S. or many other countrys.
The news organization that was inciting violence was shut down.
The clerics who continue to do such need to be shut down also (in whatever manner is neccesary).
