The oil is so plentiful there that it is leaking into the ocean floor and washing up on shore in chunks.When I was a kid playing on California beaches, I always came home with "tar" on my feet. That tar is oil leaking into the ocean.

Drilling for oil off the coast will stop that pollution, but try to tell that to the Politicians and so called environmentalists.

Anwar can be drilled in such a small area and with virtually no damage to the ecology of the region.

Also, Canada has one of the largest reserves of oil offshore in the world.

Plus there is still plenty underneath Beverly Hills High School, 90210...

IINM, there is still an active oil rig behind the Beverly Center in West LA (not far from BH).
