Brian Wilson once said that the original goal of his music was to combine Four Freshmen vocals with Chuck Berry's guitar. He got 'er done. I can't hear Surfin' U.S.A. from the Beach Boys without mentally hearing Chuck Berry knock out Sweet Little Sixteen. And the two segue together very neatly.
