many of the skits and personas he created were priceless What personas? What skits?
I remember him from SNL in a single skit, having to do with something like:
"I know you're all wondering how all this affects me... Al Franken."
In other words, playing a pompous ass.
I don't think he was acting...

Whatta dope Franken is.
What does he think happens to cheap shot artists who are imprudent enough to put their n*ts on the table?
That goes double for talentless cheap shot artists.
I have a feeling this foray into radio will bury this guy's career in the public eye for good.

"As a writer for Saturday Night Live he accomplished truly great things for fifteen seasons..." That must explain why I never watched SNL those years, and continue to ignore it.
"... and many of the skits and personas he created were priceless."
That must be true, I wouldn't waste my time watching a rerun of that crap for any price.

You can't say Gore won the popular vote in 2000, nobody knows and the facts make it look doubtful.

I think that this is what the Lefties never grasp: Before Rush was Rush the great voice of the right, he was a disc jockey, who understood broadcasting and the entertainment value of the medium. Even if you do not agree with Rush's views, you must appreciate the entertainment factor. He's a great disc jockey first.

Whatever happened to Ed Schultz...wasn't he going to make his entry into national liberal radio on this network?
Instead he still seems to be on KFGO in Fargo, this morning the big issue was if a kid caught smoking should be allowed to go to the prom.
Couldn't talk about it all morning however as they have added back Rush at 11AM. I guess the lefty could not draw the numbers.

I wouldn't listen to it unless they paid me, and even then, I have to reconsider it and reconsider it and reconsider it again before I did.... and most likely even then, I wouldn't listen unless they paid me 7 figures left of the decimal point per year. Then maybe I could stomach it.

Very poorly conceived and executed production.
In their haste to get the hate Bush engine running, I think they forgot about the vehicle.

" He believes this train/movement will unearth a staggering number of potential voters, and ensure that legions of disenfranchised geniuses flood the polls and fondle Democratic punch tools at election time." "Disenfranchised Geniuses", lol. Now, that is funny. A liberal genius? Very few, there must be.
Fat Mike didn't know there was an Electoral College?
I wonder how many liberals don't know about the Electoral vote? LOL
No wonder they think Al Gore won. I would be embarrassed.

I would like to know about that letter Franken read...of course, I did not hear the show. But I have seen a bogus letter from a soldier from the 82nd floating around.
Did anyone hear, and does anyone know the details of the letter AF read on the air?

if little al f. had any real guts or real courage he would truly invite Ann on his show for a debate instead of PRETENDING she was there in the green room. However, the little weasel knows Ann would wipe the floor with his arrogant little face.
Are these people laughable or what? It's amazing.
What little al f. doesn't realize is you CAN'T PRETEND to have talent and then go on a radio show. You must be BORN with it like Rush and Sean and be able to have facts not fiction and debate not hate.
He'll be off the air before we know it.
