NEW YORK (AP) -- Major newspapers ran graphic photos Thursday of charred bodies of Americans killed in Iraq, while the images were largely shunned by American television as too horrific.
Eight photographs of the Fallujah attack, including corpses being dragged in the streets and hanging from a bridge, were transmitted Wednesday by The Associated Press with an advisory to editors to "Note graphic content."

What's Kerry's take?
TV won't show it because it makes the Democrats look foolish. Any group with this level of hate in their hearts need to be monitored and managed.

They won't show graphic pics from 9-11, but they'll show these? Interesting editorial choice, especially in light of how the pics/video may have been obtained.

We'll need to reinstate the draft to get enough able-bodied men for all the monitoring and management needed in today's world.

If you will look at all of the news footage from Iraq and Palestine, you will see scores of boys and young men on the loose with nothing at all to do but to cause trouble. The UN has been feeding the Palestinians and the USA has helped as well. Idle hands is the devil's workshop. It looks like the girls all stay at home. What can be done to teach he boys the same? Something needs to be done about it. If any of these people had to work for a living, none of them would have so much of this energy which is used for a no good cause.

The local NBC affiliate said on their morning show (5AM-7AM) that they were not broadcasting the pics/video, but warned that many major newspapers were printing the photos.
Surprising, coming from the network of Katie Couric...but I've found the local station to have less of a liberal bent.

while the images were largely shunned by American television as too horrific. Wouldn't want to inflame the sheeple who get their news from TV. They might actually bleat that "something must be done". Since they only read the sports pages, or the "Living" section, if even those and if they can read, in the "mainline" papers. Most read their local rag, unless they live in the city that is home to one of the "mainline" papers.
