Maybe I will go "loose" some notes in a Starbucks that will make the Democrats look really bad. Then we can see if that shows up on UPI.

What is missing from the stories is that the note is stolen property.

If you are sitting in a restaurant and observe some leave, say a laptop computer behind, the computer does not become your property.

We know the person who "found" the note saw it being left behind; otherwise he or she wouldn't know who it belonged to. If it had a name on it, that's even worse

Hillary has gone on record as saying that an "October Surprise" will determine the winner of the election. What do you suppose she has planned?

Perhaps she'll use the same hitman that took out Vince Foster to take out Kerry leaving her the natural to fill in the vacancy created by his departure.

Hit men are cheaper than presidential campaigns...I think.

Some strange things in his bio.

One, he works for Department of Interior???

Why is he involved in these discussions at all? They pull in random PR people for this stuff? Does he even *have* the appropriate clearances?

Two, he's a former journalist. I'll just let that stand on its own.

"Pamela Hess"

Isn't that supposed to be spelled, "Hiss"(as in Alger)?

New deputy Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld has quietly added another official to the Pentagon public affairs office. He is Eric Ruff, a former government and industry public relations specialist who was once a newspaper reporter. Mr. Ruff, currently a public affairs specialist working for Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, is likely to become the principal deputy assistant defense secretary for public affairs, the key deputy to Assistant Defense Secretary-designee Larry Di Rita. Many Pentagon news reporters, however, are unfamiliar with the new spokesman. Mr. Ruff was transplanted to the Pentagon from the Interior Department, where he was director of communications. He also worked on Capitol Hill, where he was an aide to Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, Texas Republican, and before that, he was an aide to Sen. John W. Warner, Virginia Republican. Mr. Ruff also worked in the first Bush administration at public affairs jobs in the Agriculture and Commerce departments. As a news reporter, Mr. Ruff covered the Hill for Congressional Quarterly and before that, he worked for the Donrey Media Group. He cut his newspaper reporting teeth in the 1970s and was the first to report the influx of Vietnamese refugees to Fort Chafee, Ark., in 1975 for the Southwest Times Record.

BTW Just what was he doing in Dupont Circle?

Socialism is slavery...and it's what World Communism has morphed into. That includes the American DemocRAT Party. Read GA (D) US Senator Zell Miller's book...he's organizing "Democrats for Bush 2004"!

Given what a flop Richard Clarke turned out to be for the Dems, I have to wonder if some pubbie was chumming at Starbucks. Let some libs get a good whiff so they'd think they really had a hot commodity in Richard Clarke, and put him on stage big time expecting him to take Bush down... only to see Richard Clarke get squashed.

Either way, it didn't work out to the libs' favor.
