Fine, but you've left out a key element in the liberal's arsenal, the clever but meaningless phrase. They can turn a complex issue into a phrase of a few words and that label becomes the key to their arguments. They reduced the war in Iraq to "blood for oil" and that became the issue for them.

It is in fact, an area where we fail. We concede the language game to the liberals almost every time on almost every issue. Look at the signs that the protesters in San Francisco carry. Those signs describe the issues and those descriptions are adopted into our language. Take "gay marriage" as an example. It is by definition a contradiction like saying "white African-American" yet by repetition, it has become part of common usage, the fairies objective in the first place.

We must learn to create these labels so we can argue like liberals. I've started with the phrases "neocommunist" and "kerrorism/kerrorist." Join me in using them and creating others!!

I have long felt that we ought to stop calling them 'peace protestors' and 'peaceniks'. They aren't about 'peace' at all. You didn't hear a word from them when Clinton was bombing Yugoslavia.

They are about opposing and thwarting anything that any Conservative does. They are about opposing anything that is good for the United States. They are about gaining power. They have nothing to do with 'peace' except inasmuch as it can be used as a noble-sounding cloak for hating America.

And, your point is taken, but I don't want to argue like a Liberal. It is intellectually dishonest.

However, the word "liberal" has been much maligned. Kerry and company run away from the label when they can. The label of liberal was such a fine label until the left co-opted the word for themselves. Also, "pro-life", as opposed to "pro-choice" has counter-punched the abortion lobby. Yet, like you state, the Right has a long way to go to catch up the label and slogan factory of the left.
