"The Rats have to face the fact that they picked a real dud in Kerry."
Who would have been better, really? They're real problem is they have no ideas, at least no good ones. They've just degenerated into a bunch of socialist power grabbers. They'd take over the country by force, if they could, and at some point they may try, because they sure aren't winning it on elections.

Who would have been better, really?I think Joe Lieberman was hands down their best candidate. He would have given Dubya a run for his money, and I'd have felt confident he would have done his best to keep our nation safe. (No, I would not have voted for him over Pres. Bush.) But the libs were so heck-bent on being anti war, they shoved him aside. Very dumb move.

Some of the rabid leftists you see on other (ahem DUh) boards advocate violence, assassination, etc.
It might be worth logging them after the election results come in and make sure the FBI is made aware of the threats.

Excuse me, am I missing something? It seems as though they have just about taken over through the judiciary already!

"Who would have been better, really?" Joe Lieberman. The old one. He's a guy I could support once he was in office. Of course he had no chance in the leftist primaries, and probably couldn't beat Bush.
Nonetheless, Lieberman has supported: vouchers, capital gains tax cuts, robust America-first foreign policy, strength against terror, and some spending discipline. All of which makes him a non-starter for the Dem primaries.

Who would have been better, really? The only way the 'Rats could have won this year is to have gone with Hillary! in a completely personality-based campaign. If they had unleashed the perfect sh!t storm and gone intensely negative while pulling a "Rick Lazio is attacking me"-type move whenever the Pubbies punched back, they could have enticed perhaps a bare majority to vote for Hillary!.
It would be a risky strategy, but the one with the best chance of success IMHO. Fortunately for us all, Hillary! is not interested in taking risks.

Who would have been better, really? Al Sharpton would've better represented the party, but the left won't allow minorities in leadership positions.

They've been doing it for a long time, and are picking up speed.
Judicial activism. Leftist Black Robed Nazgul are ruling by judicial fiat.

So true. They controlled Congress or the White House, and often both, for most of 70 years. They got lazy, depending on their position of power to perpetuate their hold. They haven't had a new idea since Roosevelt. Just the same old stuff redecorated.
