You're wrong if you think the Hollywood media elite are trying to make money for their stockholders. Look at their stock performances. The elite want to use the media companies to push their propaganda. And their stockholders are getting fed up with their doing it.

Good post, and one that shines the spotlight of truth on the cultural elite's war against our traditional, historically Judeo-Christian, values. Another example is CBS. Their ratings have been going down the toilet for a long time, and they do know why. Instead of implementing new policies that would reverse the trend, they give us commentary by Andy Rooney. Despite their admission that they received more emails and phone calls reviling Rooney's Gibson hit piece than any show in CBS history, they see no need to apologize. In fact, they allowed Rooney to address the issue a second time just to heap more ridicule on the outraged viewers.
