Viet Nam Vets Against the War were about the sorriest bunch of jackasses I ever saw. Their rhetoric was a bunch of inflammatory insinuendo without any facts. I wasn't too happy with my military experience in 1972, but I wasn't about to join those freaks.

Here is the letter sent by the Kerry campaign.

Rand Beers has a reasonable explanation that the letter was sent out to the group Democrats Abroad. Most likely it was just standard campaign literature that the Teheran Times decided to publish. That they would lie is hardly surprising.
This is not a profitable endeavor. It is a non-starter.
We are better off spending our time scrutinizing Kerry's speeches, statements, and records.

This is my greatest fear, that all of the leftist's attacks on the war on terror will lead to another Viet Nam treatment of our returning troops. The leftist's should be hanging their heads in shame, but they are too selfish to realize that these brave men and women are the very reason they are allowed to make such jerks of themselves.
