This movie's primary audience will be eco-nuts and the followers of Art Dingaling.

I love how John Stossel just the other night pointed out the myth of the depleting forests of America.

America is actually getting greener, although eco-nuts claim it is from "man-made (i.e. "unnatural") forests."

John Stossel remarked something to the effect of: "Do the spotted owls really care if the tree is 400 years old, or two years old?"

The Left would rather see the forests burn than see a single dollar's worth of profit go to a forest products company.

Maybe the Left has built a big spaceship to carry them off the Earth...

How much silver mine pollution is caused by producing the film for this movie? Think of all the other industrial pollution just to develop the prints. Thanks for the warning - I'll just skip it.

I was hoping it would be a movie made from Heinlein's book.

Maybe they can play the classic the Day After before they play this other flick.

Actually, the movie trailers and the web site are pretty cool. It's a shame the director is an a**hole

This director's next disaster movie should be Kerry 2004.

A winner! Yes, the movie is based on his fiction with Whitley Strieber.

"....and a single day sweltering-to-freezing temperature change in New York City..."

Global Warming? Doesn't the earth go through "global warming" every year(freezing temperature to sweltering"

It's called " Seasons"

If the whole world can adapt this quickly over the span of 365 days, then why can't it do it over decades or centuries?

It's not fiction, except for the obligatory leftist swipe that somehow it's being accelerated by our emissions and whatnot. The science and history/pre-history behind superstorms is real, and from a valid statistical perspective, we're about due for a shift.

The "global cooling" predictions of the 1970's we're ignored because it didn't fit the radical eco-nuts, though we're swinging back. Now that the evidence shows that "global warming" is a result of flawed models generating bad data fed back into more flawed models, the "eminent authorities" on climate change are beginning to parrot what Bell and Streiber said in their book.
