This needs to be explored.

It is.
It's been on FR for a week.
Tom Lipscomb, who broke the story, has been on several talk radio programs since last week.
Most of the conservative talk radio programs have covered/are covering it.
The main media has it shelved, hoping it doesn't get legs.

Question 1: Do you, Mr. Kerry, currently support the assassination of U.S. Senators?
Question 2: Would you mind standing over there?

Brinkley described Camil as "a hothead Vietnam vet who wanted to bring down the U.S. government." "I'm a little shocked that the Kerry campaign would want him actively working with them in Florida," he told Malzberg. I wonder if Kerry has hired Camil to practice his specialty against George W. Bush?

What's with Brinkley? He wrote an adoring biography of Kerry and made just a passing mention of his antiwar activities. Book sales must be slow. Maybe Brinkley is trying to boost sales or hoping that he can regain his credentials as a serious historian after being seen as a Kerry sycophant.
