This is a busy Summer and I haven't been very chatty in FRFLB-land.
I have heard somethign very sad but utterly glorious, from cherry_bomb88. Greg Summers, sultan88, has passed away in the last day or so, I believe of kidney failure. He is survived by his wife and two adult children, one of which is in FR.
His page - http://www.freerepublic.com/~sultan88/ - relates this sentiment: "'Never send to know - for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee.' From my favorite poem by John Donne"
The bell tolls for us, Greg.
Greg had a strong life's testimony of his acceptance of Christ, our saving, personal, so loving knowledge of God. That is of surpassing comfort to his family and to us. I see that Greg was hanging back with the #1 waiver position in the FRFLB, maybe hanging back to grasp a top pick -- a gifted, promising newcomer up from the minors, full of hope. Instead, that's what he has become, in Paradise.
Please pray for Greg's loved ones. We miss him too.
I'm very sorry to hear this. He picked up a new player in the league just a couple of days ago. His family will be in my prayers.
