You do not explain how America will stand on her own, when the technology she relies on is developed and supported by people in nations whose agendas and goals are not hers. What will happen when interests change, technology leaks to those who are not friends to democracy and the American way of life, and the tools to keep things running are no longer here?

We are the ones who carried pagers when they were almost exclusively the tools of doctors, pimps and drug dealers. Uh. Not very eloquent.

And they and their families will vote in November....

A bit maudlin and overlong, but it makes a point.

Well, so far the strategy seems to be to repeat 'there is no problem' over and over. I have to say this is the one area where the Bush campaign in failing. The field contained a pretty high percentage of Republicans, but that can change...

I really wish that the guy who wrote this had the testicular fortitude to sign his name to it.
Because then I would know who not to hire.

then I would know who not to hire. You had me going for a minute, I was wondering who in the world would think that playing the victim would help him get hired. Then I remembered how the biggest victim of all is applying for the biggest job of all:

You forgot:
We are the overpaid phonies who say 'its the BIOS, I can't change it' whenever they can't understand a problem. We are the uneducated hacks who speak with thick Brooklyn accents who have a superiority complex because we know a few Lotus Notes tricks that the typical person doesn't. We are the men and women who can seldom give you a firm date/time of completion for their projects.
We are I/T.
