I somehow doubt Al Qaeda is actually so politically savvy. I think this is a hoax and they are gonna attack anybody they feel like attacking.

They are very savvy, which is why I don't think this is a hoax. They will eventually resume terrorist activity in Spain, but not until they've milked this election for all its worth. You'll see letters-to-the-editor and even editorials in your daily papers from Democrats who will gladly serve as conduits for the al-Quaeda spin.

I think this is a hoax . . . I agree with you 100% on this point. Islam never calls for a truce when it's winning. Its final goal is not to get Spain out of Iraq but to reestablish the Spanish Caliphate and, indeed, establish a worldwide Caliphate. More demands will be made of Spain in short order.
