The RAT setup and phony outrage of the Bush ads is not going to stand. The ball has started to roll.
Rush has been on the story. Hannity has been on the story. Hewitt has been on the story. Boortz has been on the story.
Now, we have seen coverage in the New York Post and Wall Street Journal. USA TODAY told a FReeper that they are investigating and wish they had the info about the Heinz connection before they did the story. We raised hell with the NY TIMES over the weekend.
On this thread, please chronicle all of the coverage with links if you can.
ALSO, I will be away much of the day on business (Wed, March 10). Will someone please post the phone contacts to the major television networks on this thread. Email is good, but it is not good enough. If we flood them with calls, we may have some impact. Please be nice on the phone. Let the other side be the jerks.
For all of those who have time to make the calls, thanks for the help. This nation is screwed if a RAT comes back into the White House while the Islamist terrorists continue to plot daily to cause our demise. NEVER TRUST THE DEMOCRATS WITH NATIONAL SECURITY!

USA TODAY told a FReeper that they are investigating and wish they had the info about the Heinz connection before they did the story. Translation:
We knew about it before we ran with the story...we're not sorry...but we'll publish a little blurb on page 14 to make up for it. Now get lost. We're trying to elect a President here.
Sorry, but that's how I see it.

Oh, I agree completely, and have been doing my own private boycott of the "big 3" and CNN for years. That doesn't mean, when I read about one-sided reporting online, that I can't call and raise heck with them.

I just spoke to Sara at ABC News. From the operator, I asked for the national news desk and she is the one to whom I was transferred. She claims to be unaware but wanted some info from me. She thought it was interesting and asked where I got the info. Email is on the way.

Email to Sara at ABC NEWS:
Sara, it was a pleasure speaking with you. Here is a link from the Pittsburgh Tribune Review to get you started on the connection between Heinz and Peaceful Tomorrows, the "advocacy group" of families.
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/s_169770.html
Rita Lazar, a spokeswoman for the group, was a volunteer then a paid worker in Clinton's first campaign.

I don't want to accuse them without proof, but it certainly looks like this was a contrived story orchestrated by the DNC. The whole story wasn't told. I trust that your reporters are professional enough to do a followup story and make full disclosure. Peter would certainly not want the story he does and on which he stakes his reputation to be sloppy journalism.

Just spoken with Lauren at CBS. Gee, the story is not on the schedule for tonight. She said that others have called with the info. Come on, let us keep up the pressure and force them to do it.

From Sara in the newsroom of ABC nightly news, I received this email ---
Thank you Doug. I appreciate this.
===============================================
Earlier today I spoke with her on the phone and discussed the Heinz connection to the outrage over the Bush ads. Okay, she has acknowledged receiving something she didn't know. Let's see what Peter does with it.

Just left a message for Dan Janison of Newsday --- 631.843.2700. In his March 4 story, he used the following description:
A group saying it represents about 120 victim family members held a news conference Friday to criticize the ads.
Sorry, Dan, merely calling them a group representing 120 victim family members doesn't tell the story. Do some damn homework and follow the money! Why are these freaking journalist so lazy?
