PHONY OUTRAGE STORY BREAKING HARD --- Hannity is on it; can mainstream media keep hiding?

Ladies and gentlemen, it is breaking hard right before our eyes. Sean Hannity is talking now about the phony outrage story regarding the President Bush ads.

We are going to find that the RATS contacted family members who are anti-war, anti-Bush and who lost relatives on 9-11. We will find they were given the phone numbers of newsrooms. We will find they were given talking points.

Although some who called got out of hand, we got the NY TIMES to take notice of the story. They were deluged with phone calls. I understand Neal Boortz was on the story as well as other hosts.

We will not let this stand. John Effin Kerry is attempting to use 9-11 for his political benefit. John Effin Kerry, no effin way.

FOX News is mixed up in this. They have been called and emailed and they still were giving the Dems face time on this subject all weekend without calling them on it. No disrespect intended but that should be obvious to almost everyone.

Whether the war on terror, illegal immigration, the exportation of cutting edge technology, ceding US authority to the UN, the formation of world courts or outsourcing sensitive research and development, almost all people of any political stripe are unified in this persuasion.

Maybe some of our reporter friends could just promise to ask Kerry whether he helped arrange the outrage interviews? Does Kerry even take questions on the campaign trail? If so, which reporters are on his beat? I realize, of course, that all of this depends on Kerry not questioning the terms in which the question was asked later on: "You asked if I arranged. I did not. I referred, coordinated, suggested, prompted, promoted, prevaricated and purchased, but did not arrange. I stand by [one of my] previous statements."

Good news. I spoke to a WASHINGTON POST reporter earlier and sent him info about the funding of PEACEFUL TOMORROWS as well as the ad Kerry did in 1984 in front of the Vietnam Memorial. I just got his email response ---

The real name of the outfit is September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows

And from all appearances it is a fund-raising front for the Tides Center (EIN 94-3213100) of San Francisco - and "Peaceful Tomorrows" doesn't try to hide that they are affiliated on their contribute page. I know some Freepers are familiar with the Tides Center, and for those who are not, it is a non-profit organization that rakes in fairly big bucks ($63+ mill in FY 2002, which included $5+ mill in Government grants) to distribute out grants and allocations to various and sundry "social" projects and causes, with left-wing groups getting decent cuts of the action - they consistently lay out a good bit of change to anti-second amendment groups, for instance. September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows doesn't appear to be necessarily autonomous from the Tides Center. Interestingly, the P.O. box listed on the "Peaceful Tomorrows" site shares the same location address and zip in the neighborhood with such notable organizations as The New Formulation: an Anti-Authoritarian Review of Books (a biannual journal examining the value of recent publications to the development of contemporary anarchist theory and politics), Institute for Anarchist Studies, Radical Magick (an "Eclectic Ceremonial Based Magick Group"), South Asian AIDS Action, Lesbian and Gay Labor Network, Dyke Action Machine! or DAM! - not that there's anything wrong with that (in Jerry Seinfeld voice). The Fellowship of Reconciliation website that is also mentioned on "Peaceful Tomorrows" contribute page says it all - offices in Wash. DC and also San Francisco.

Though they may splash New York this and New York that all around, "Peaceful Tomorrows" is created and based in Oakland California, founded and directed by Barry Amundson and sister-in-law Kelly Campbell, with the web technical matters being handled by Steve Simitzis of Saturn5 Productions in San Francisco, which has an apparent mission statement of providing web consulting and "hosting for artists, online communities, activist organizations"


Amundson is Designer and IT manager for the San Francisco branch of Fenton Communications, a "public interest communications" company that has offices in Washington DC, New York NY and San Francisco.

They have a rather interesting list of clientele that include -

Rock the Vote (which is also a "top five" paid contractor for the Tides Center)

A WASHINGTON POST reporter...says he is interested in that story.

He may be interested in it, but dollars to donuts his senior editor, who probably participated in anti-war demonstrations in the 70's, will probably kill it as being divisive, inflammatory, and not relevant to this election.

The RATS set up the press, some of whom went along very happily. The outrage at the Bush ads came from family groups associated with PEACEFUL TOMORROWS. That group got huge funding that ultimately came from a Teresa Heinz foundation.
