I can't recall any bad experiences with any of the MS merchandise we've purchased at KMart. We bought some really soft sheets right after our fifth child was born. I don't remember the star quality, but I loved 'em. They didn't wear out overly fast either. We bought overpriced cupcake holders that were blue, green, and white, and I can't complain about anything other than the price and the location in the Super KMart. (we searched the cake aisle for the cheap holders, and they didn't have any. we came across the MS version by accident.) We have a medium saucepan that has the MS label. It was $25-$30, and I love it. Unfortunately, our eldest recently tried to cook three boxes of Kraft macaroni-n-cheese in it, and she scorched the stuff right onto the pan. No amount of SOS scrubbing has eliminated all of the burned-on-noodles. More recently, I purchased Martha's cheap plastic containers rather than spend an excessive amount on Tupperware. I love them because they are of a decent quality that lasts rather than some of the other brands out there. I'm sure I've purchased other stuff, but it's irrelevant.
MS should get a little time in the pokey. All she had to do is tell the truth. She didn't. Now she'll learn a lesson. Hopefully. We're never too old or rich or famous for that.

Helpful hint, Martha never told anyone.........
For burnt on/scorched foods, fill pan or pot 1/3 to 1/2 with water and some liquid detergent, place on high flame and bring to boil, for a bit, turning down the flame a tad, after rapid boiling begins. Then scrub with an SOS pad.
If all else fails, but Dawn's new stuff ( I forget what it's called right now ),in the blue spray bottle. It works wonders on oil scorch marks too.
