and since this time around it is my friends, classmates, and teammates that are in harms way I find your stance anti-patriotic and cynical beyond belief. Anti-patriotic? Strong words from an arm chair patriot that has perform no service except in his own interest. Your understanding of patriotism and cynicism is representative of a 24 year old's immaturity and self-indulgence. I find it difficult to believe you have friends, much less classmates or "teammates" that share your view or value your concern.
Your damn right; I don't give a crap about the military; I do care about my countrymen.
It speaks volumes that first you responded to Pincus' retreat with a cynical reference to death, and now separate your concern for your countrymen and the military.
Your ideology shreds with the slightest pull of a thread.

Your critique of "my ideology" does not make sense. I posted this article to show another instance when the criminal Chalabi duped the administration. That is not a question of ideology unless you believe truth is determined by ideology, but if you want to go on believing that maybe in this one instance Chalabi delivered, than you are suffering from some Republican version of battered wife syndrome.
You are right about one thing, we cannot both be patriots.
I have two friends in the frontlines; one wants to be there, the other most certainly does not. Played football with both, drank heavily with both.
