For those of you who wish to check the math on this, the BLS reports total nonfarm employment, seasonally adjusted,\was 132,388,000 in January 2001, the month Bush took office. It was 130,155,000 as of the most recent report in January, 2004. That's a loss of 2,233,000 jobs -- not 2,900,000 as the ad states

That's assuming the labor market didn't grow at all in 3 years. To make up for the "missing" 700k that requires 20k people a month enter the labor market.
