I wonder how most foreigners would view America if they saw our country
continually express pride in itself.


When I was in Mongolia, I asked the people what they were proud of. Most said their heritage, family, agriculture. I left with a good feeling about those people and think they are going to make it.

If you ask American what they are proud of, what will most people besides Freepers say?

It's like telling a doctor who has invested enormous amounts of time, effort, and
money into becoming a professional to save lives that he should be ashamed of
himself for having more money than some lazy indigent.

Liberals unconsciously hate themselves and take this self-hatred out on others.
