Thank you for serving and know that even those of us who did not serve (I'm a woman)feel the same way you do about Hanoi Jane.
To: Balata
What do you think about my #33? Could that have happened?

I remember lazy moments standing watch on the U.S.S. Gridley - out on the fantail, the fo'c'sle, anywhere, looking at the sea, enjoying glorious sunsets and sunrises on the bridge. What? Was he on the Titanic? I see the movie, The Titanic. I wonder if he threw a really big diamond over the side too...

I'm in dire need of something right now...just saw her thighness on Lou Dobbs solving the jobs problem.
To: Howlin
If the Libertarians had their way, I'd suggest laudanum...LOL
But seriously,I spent a goodly portion of last night countering Dem lies and hysterics. I won with facts. Yes, another one down and a newly minted no longer a Dem going to vote for President Bush. :-)

What.....you watched and listened to the monster? Why didn't you change channels?
To: JennysCool
Why, I didn't know that! I'll take a fresh look at his bright vision for America! Decorated combat veterans always come #1 in my book.
Whiny, socialist, two-faced b-turd.

I saw her mouth moving, heard "jobs" and changed channels. Do you think plexiglass will be strong enough to withstand my hurls during this political season....which already seems to have been yearlong?
To: Howlin
#49 Check to see if that is "on the fantail".
To: Howlin
I seriously doubt it. He was probably in his bunk in never never land. With his stilted and flowery language he wants the reader to assume he was standing watch on the radio as the event happened. That's BS. He probably saw it on TV like the rest of us, only he saw it a day later.

Thanks for your reply, nopardons. What Jane Fonda did is definitly personal with me and many others who were there.
Many of us vowed to outlive her just to do you know what to her grave.

Nope, not even the bulletproof kind.
The months until November are going to be painful and endless. :-(
To: Balata
I know exactly what you mean. :-)
If it helps you any, I was one of those few, who along with the hardhats, yelled back at, fought with, and I spat upon the damned hippies/Yippies/old anti-nuke nuts/antiwar protesters.I may have been young, but I wasn't an idiot Liberal.

Now that I see things from Kerry's perspective, I realize what a hero he really is. He is a man of conviction. Someone you can really trust.
LOL. I see from this thread that Freepers are already finding all sorts of holes in his fabrication. After watching Algore get caught in lies over and over again, you would think this guy would be smarter than that. But then, he's a Democrat.

Kerry is stuck in a warped time warp. We have men and women fighting terrorist scum all over the planet and all he can think of is John Kerry in 1969.
I suppose thats a good thing for our side but it is damn sad.
