Liberals are still stuck in the 1960's mentality that, "We have met the enemy, and the enemy is us [America, corporations, Christians, Israel, heterosexuals, patriarchy, white males, etc.]." They really don't believe that any external force threatens America; they truly believe John Ashcroft is a bigger threat than Osama bin Laden.
