Wow, this is 1,000,000 ahead of LOTR:Return of the King. I guess the question is, what kind of staying power does it have?

And this movie will even gross more in the months ahead.

Am taking a church group on Wednesday night instead of having services. I hope that the DVD is released before Christmas and the Emmy's.

The Rat's think that it is art that a crucifix is plunged into urine and a religious picture is smeared with dung.

Art to me would be that they would drink from their own putrid cup and that others would realize that it is dung that proceeds from the mouths and covers them.

blessings, bobo

Here's something I haven't seen in the news. The big studio heads could be promoting the anti-semitism crap to protect themselves from stockholder's lawsuits. They have mismanaged their inveators' money by failing to bid on he distribution of this film.

Last Thursday a report a Box Office Mojo stated that;

"Movie brass predict that attendence will drop of over the weekend leaving Passion with receipts of approximately $35 million."

Me thinks that Box Office Mojo needs to find more reliable scources....I mean they were only off by $90 million....

'The Passion' Tops Weekend with $125,185,971 in 5 days

YES! We saw this incredible film on Sunday. I was really determined to contribute to the weekend $$ total for 'Passion'- if for nothing else - to send a message stick it to the members of the Hollywood liberal elite.

My husband and I thought it was an amazing film, and plan to see it again soon with my 80-year-old mother... who hasn't been out to a movie in several years.

Not bad for a film which will "appeal only to the gay Christian sadomasichist niche market," I'd say!

There is no violence in the film and no anti-Semitism. Jesus died willingly for my and our sins. Every stroke on his body was from me. I was one in the crowd that yelled Crucify him! My sin is no better or worse than the striker. My sins are no better or worse than Barrabas'. He mekes all things new.

What bothers the anti-Passion people is that the movie destroys the Jesus myth that he was a great philospher and nothing else. The movie shows that he is The Way, the Truth and The Life and that no man comes to the Father but by him. Then he dies as a man and forgives us of our sins. Perfect forgivness means that my sins no longer exist and am a new being. This is the destruction of moral relativism that is preached by Soddomwood theology. This movie is very powerful for Jesus Christ and Christianity around the world.

Pray for W and The Passion of Christ

NJ Catholic priest was so appalled by Mel Gibson's "The Passion of The Christ'' that he described the film as "religious barbarism.'' "I saw it as religious barbarism ... in my opinion, God did not send his son to die,''

I can't help but compare the success of the Passion to the success of the Left Behind series. One of the Left Behind books was the best-selling fiction book of 2001. Although they have sold millions of books, their success did not fundamentally change the publishing industry in any way. Unfortunately, this will likely happen with Passion as well. Can anyone really see Hollywood producing Biblically sound films?

Total as of Feb. 29, 2004: $125,185,971

Screw this money crap and that's all I see on FR. What really matters is how God is working in the people that have seen the movie. Pray for them big time. There's a working of God here and you people are talking about money? What's a dollar worth to God? Nothing. He wants souls to come to Him and accept His Son Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
