At each Kerry personal appearance there are several men wearing ball caps with some sort of military logos. Who are these men? One interviewed on TV a few nights ago identified himself as a former member of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War and a pal of Kerry. These are the guys whom Kerry likes to call his "Band of Brothers." Kerry's Bandit Brothers

I'm baffled over how somebody can get 3 purple hearts in 4 months. What were they for - a sliver, twisted ankle, and really, really bad hangover?
Seriously - it does not compute.
To: Joe 6-pack
sorry, but no way Kerry has pecs like that! :-)
To: Doug Loss
I have heard the same things about this "hero". I understand the Vip he "killed" behind that hootch was already dead, having been turned into swiss cheese by his .50 cal gunner. The "wounds" he received were scratches that required no hospitalization. His war record is phony, and his patriotism is phony.
To: Doug Loss
From what I hear, Kerry's actual Vietnam record may be shameful, and even if not is likely not praiseworthy.I agree. But who dares to say that "the emperor has no clothes"? The GOP can't attack him on his record, nor can his Dem rivals.
The best anyone can do is point out his anti-war activities after he came back.

One interviewed on TV a few nights ago identified himself as a former member of the Vietnam Veterans Against the War and a pal of Kerry. It may seem a silly question but does one have to actually be a Vietnam veteran in order to belong to that outfit. After all, we are talking about lefty Dems here. Deception and false sounding names are their forte'.
