As long as speech is acceptable to community standards.

If I were King....there would be no limmits on political speech. Exactly what the Consitution stands for.

I would think that what Stern and his ilk do is use the argument of free speach as a way to twist the Constitution in order for them to make a bunch of money by shocking people and make listeners wonder what they will do next, all the while using public airwaves.

I would say that if someone wants to do that, they should go on pay to listen systems such as Sirus or the internet. Then the government could not stop or inhibit these types of programming.

I think this is the answer to all of this....pay to listen and then don't complain when you hear it.

I see,

Where do think the line should be drawn now?

Since you are not King, (there would be a seperate thread for that if you were) What can be broadcast by the "morning shows" of our Nation?

What subjects do you think are off limits? Are there words (besides the 7 words George Carlin told us about)that should be prohibited?

What about "music"? There is a lot out there that I don't like, but can it be broadcast?

C'Mon, based on our Bill lof Rights, what can be broadcast on the radio?
