Bing.

Clear language, straight to the point, dealing with a very important issue.

Sometimes I think that Rove has finally figured out how to play the game.

Yesterday in the debate while Kerry was on a soapbox criticizing Bush on this issue. Edwards asked Kerry what he would do differently, and Kerry coldly ignored him.

"On national security, Americans have the clearest possible choice," Mr. Bush told 1,000 supporters in a 10-minute speech. "Our opponents say they approve of bold action in the world, but only if no other government disagrees. Yet America must never outsource our national-security decisions to leaders of other governments."

Right idea, and on the mark, but "outsourcing" will be turned on him if he makes this a stump soundbite.

The president accused Democratic opponents of wanting to fight the war on terror "with legal papers" rather than with military might.

"Some of our opponents are skeptical that the war on terrorism is really a war at all," Mr. Bush said. "They view terrorism as more of a crime, a problem that can be solved with law enforcement and indictments."

The president "accused" Democractic opponents because that's what John Kerry said in a debate. Is pointing out what his opponent is on the record saying really an accusation?

FYI...from a previous post of mine:

Bush has already signed a Federal outsourcing ban into law "under the radar". But that's right...Kerry wouldn't know...he was AWOL from Congress when it passed, LOL!

Washington, January 31: A new ban on sending privatised federal jobs overseas has “kicked up a firestorm” abroad and could cost US firms contracts from foreign governments, national business associations say. The ban was crafted by Senators George Voinovich, R-Ohio, and Craig Thomas, R-Wyo. It was contained in a catchall spending bill for the current fiscal year that President Bush signed into law last week.

Voinovich’s spokeswoman, Marcie Ridgway, said, “The senator’s reasoning is very simple: Jobs that were previously done by American citizens for American taxpayers shouldn’t be shipped overseas to be done by people in other countries.”

That echoes arguments put forward in several state legislatures that are considering similar proposals.

I have heard that there is also a bill in Congress to extend incentives for private companies to not outsource their jobs. Speaking of previous posts, I need to go out and find another one of mine...Bob Kerry was on Chrissy Matthews last night and re-started the "Bush has not gone to any soldier's funerals" garbage again.

Thanks for the info. It's a start.
