SAN FRANCISCO, California (AP) -- Former television talk show host Rosie O'Donnell said she planned to marry her longtime girlfriend Thursday in San Francisco, where more than 3,300 other same-sex couples have tied the knot since February 12.
Appearing on ABC's "Good Morning America," O'Donnell announced she would wed Kelli Carpenter -- two days after President Bush called for a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

"I think the actions of the president are, in my opinion, the "I think the actions of the president are, in my opinion, the most vile and hateful words ever spoken by a sitting president," O'Donnell said on the program. "I am stunned and I'm horrified. Oh, I don't know, Rosie. I guess your perspective on that subject is different than let's say, oh, 98% of the population.
My vote for "most vile and hateful words ever spoken by a sitting president" would probably go to Bill Clinton for his memorable response to the blazing holocaust his administration caused at Waco (when he told a reporter who asked him if he felt any reponsibility for the deaths of 88 men, women and kids), "Why should I feel reponsible because a bunch of religious nuts in Texas decided to commit suicide?"

Is a 1-ton bucket of krill a suitable wedding gift? How very thoughtful. I was thinking of "hers and hers" Turkey Basters.

now there's a recipe for a long lasting and loving commitment; getting married because you're mad for something somebody said... she'll be blazing her trail-of-tears on the tv talkshow circuit in about a year from now to moan over the destruction of her 'marriage' and blame it all on George Bush ... wait and see

She said the president's call is what inspired her to travel to San Francisco... Oh, so she's getting married for political reasons and not for love. Her gf must feel good about that.

I think that is very symbolic of what the Lez-Feminazi movement would like to achieve.

"We applied for spousal privilege and were denied it by the state. As a result, everything that I said to Kelli, every letter that I wrote her, every e-mail, every correspondence and conversation was entered into the record," O'Donnell said. "After the trial, I am now and will forever be a total proponent of gay marriage."Sucks to be you, Rosie.

Rosie's idea of "vile and hateful" leaves me "stunned and horrified". So she's only getting married to spite President Bush?... So is Rosie blaming Bush for her own publicity stunt!?!
This is a new standard for left-wing blame Bush chutzpa. Whats next - blaming Bush for original sin.

"I think the actions of the president are, in my opinion, the most vile and hateful words ever spoken by a sitting president," O'Donnell said on the program. "I am stunned and I'm horrified. "I find this proposed amendment very, very, very, very shocking. And immoral. And, you know, if civil disobedience is the way to go about change, then I think a lot of people will be going to San Francisco. And I hope they put more people on the steps to marry as many people as show up. And I hope everyone shows up."
If I were an Onion writer, I'd just copy stuff verbatim from the Times and the SF Chronicle.

All fun and games aside, and this is what this is for people of this persuasion, fun and games - I'm pretty sure you all know this but - this is very very very very exciting for them to have us all out here is America talking about them, it is a victory to know that instead of our minds being harnessed by God and His commandments, they are ripping these "victorian prudish puritanical" ideas apart and filling our minds with all this nastiness, however they can, whatever way they can - just be careful as we go to battle to protect our nation against the enemies who oppose obedience to God's Holy Word, just guard your heart and minds - please, this stuff is evil, not to be taken lightly! Remember who and what we are dealing with here.
