Thank you!

Kerry says, "I know something about carriers," alluding to his service in Vietnam. Since I don't know of any aircraft carriers that were deployed to the Mekong Delta, which one was he aboard? How many months did he serve in Vietnam? Where? What carrier? Did he come home early? Was it because of the severity of his wounds or something else? What does the military record say?

What does John Kerry know about carriers? He never served on one, he was not a flight officer, the closest he ever got to one was perhaps an orientation class which was held to familiarize the young officers with the various missions of the US Navy. Or maybe he saw one pulling into harbor, if he ever got around any of the harbors where one might dock. His experience in the Navy was just not very extensive. Some XO's aide-de-camp, and a short stint on a river patrol boat. How does that qualify ANYBODY for military strategic planning? He was a little higher level gofer than the typical company clerk, until he spent a little time as robo-warrior, gunning down whole villages and burning the structures to the ground. At the request of some of the higher levels of the Navy chain of command, John Kerry was hustled out of Viet Nam before he became another embarrassment like Lt. William Calley.

Maybe that is the story that has NOT been told. Not all officers that have worn the uniform have, in truth, served as honorably as their official biographies would imply. Kerry has spent a lot of time making assertions that the GIs in Viet Nam were rather worse than the Japanese that had ravaged the country some 25 years earlier. Perhaps he may speak with authority, since he himself had committed several of the atrocities of which he accuses other US troops?

Trying to get a consistent story from John Kerry is like nailing Jell-O to the wall.
