I certainly will not be happy if the AWB gets extended. I'm pro 2a, especially after learning how to shoot. But, I would rather have just a small portion 'banned' under Bush then likely having even more laws banning firearms under Kerry. I know that Bush hasn't come through on some things, many of which I am upset about. But I also know that he is the best chance we have of a more conservative agenda.

There is absolutely no way anyone can convince me that Kerry would be better. The man would sooner gove control over our country to the UN than to our own citizens. And we all know how much the UN loves guns. Four years of Kerry would do nothing to advance conservatism because every time a liberal is elected, it makes it that much harder for Republicans to stay the right, and not float toward the middle.

It may sound like a lesser of two evils argument, but I know we have a better chance of advancing a conservative agenda with Bush than we'd ever dare to ask of Kerry.

Rintense, listen clearly please:

True RKBA people will not vote to keep an anti in any elected position. End of discussion.

In fact, the Pro-RKBA congress is in control because of us RKBA people in the first place.

Your political pals have been warned.

The statement is meant to impress what will happen to voter motivation if we get slapped in the face too many times.

I guarantee that this election will have a lot of folks pulling their hair out. It's not easy or pleasant to think that Kerry could be president, but in reality the fault lies with the Bush team.

We have been shouting from the rooftops about the spending, the First Amendment violations of CFR, the promised support for the continued violation of the 2nd, education spending, NEA spending, prescription drugs, illegal immigration, etc. . .

If the Bush team is that tone deaf, they continue at their own peril. He can end up as a one termer like his father. Why would he persist with his pandering to the left? I keep telling everyone that he is not stupid. If I'm right, he has some other motive or agenda and I'd like to know what it is.

This country is sorely divided and one possible end is another civil war. This next possible conflagration has the potential to make the first one like a day at the beach. Aggravating the situation are all of the pandering politicians trying to line their own pockets and become entrenched as they sell out our rights.

The American people are long suffering. We've proven it. Thomas Jefferson expected a revolution every 20 years. According to his timetable, we are long overdue for one. To pretend that the situation doesn't exist doesn't help.

If we let a so called conservative (of whatever self declared stripe) to get away with wholesale violations of the Constitution out of fear of getting a Democrat, we can never expect to get a Republican moderate or liberal to have any respect for us or the Constittion. Forget the Dems and libs. There is no hope for them at all. Since all pols crave power, perhaps, maybe, hopefully, we can teach the GOP a lesson and pull the back to the right.

There is no guarantee that it will work. We may end up with a Dem. The biggest difference is the speed with which we go into socialism, but even under Bush, we're heading there anyway.
