The feds are demanding the Rev. Al Sharpton answer a number of questions about problems with his campaign-finance reports, The Post has learned.
In a letter, the Federal Election Commission has given him until March 11 to explain excessive campaign donations, the way in which he reported his debt, and why he didn't itemize large payments made to him personally.

This is a new one. Make some big money just by running, who needs to get elected?

So how is this any different than any other civil-rights figure? All they do is run around and scream about how the "man" or the "system" is keeping their people down, but all they are really saying is: "Show me the money." If that is all it takes to keep them quiet, let them keep it.

And exactly how is this all that different from the majority of leftis DemocRATs? Ok, so Al is too new to the Pres. Campaign business to know how to hide such impropert stuff, but heck - if this were Kerry, Edwards, or any other more "mainstream" RAT, it would most likely be ignored...

In 1998, Steve Pagones won a $345,000 judgment against Sharpton for having defamed him. Al hasn't paid off and all his personal property is subject to confiscation, so he hides behind his campaign committee.
