The other party's nomination battle is still playing out. The candidates are an interesting group, with diverse opinions: For tax cuts, and against them. For NAFTA, and against NAFTA. For the Patriot Act, and against the Patriot Act. In favor of liberating Iraq, and opposed to it. And that's just one senator from Massachusetts. (Laughter and applause.) It ain't whoopass, but it's a start.

I thought that and the remark about waiting to see if Saddam would lose the next Iraqi election was great

"Others would have chosen differently. They now agree that the world is better off with Saddam Hussein out of power; they just didn't support removing Saddam from power. (Laughter.) Maybe they were hoping he'd lose the next Iraqi election. (Laughter and applause.)"

I thought it was right on the money, it was well balanced, it had it's salms on Kerry, Edwards. It was serious, it defended his record, and most of all...... it was Optimistic

I'm waiting for the equivalent of the "It's Morning in America again" type advertisement. I believe President Bush will use his TV ads to promote his record and be optimistic about the future and where we are going. He will use his road trips to pound whatever loser they nominate
