"New tractor huh?"

Yea, a Garden Tractor, not a Michigan Front End Loader!

"I got a 30HP 4X4 New Holland with a Front End Loader last fall."

Wow.
A 30HP 4x4, eh?
That's formidable.
Bet I get better mileage than you. :o)

"Of course I've got almost eight acres to mow."

It hurts me to even think about having to do 8 acres, for crying out loud.
What'd you use before the New Holland?
Must've taken all day with anything less, I'd think.

"Oh yeah. Mine's got a cup holder too."

I'll bet, & a "Captain Kirk" chair to boot.
Wouldn't surprise me to hear it's got a "Sleeper," too. {g}

...that's an expensive piece of machinery ya got there.

It's got an 8 gallon tank (diesel) that will run for about 8 hrs before needing to be refueled. With REAL tractors fuel useage is measured by the hour, not by the mile. :~)

I used to use an old Soviet built 27HP Belarus 250AS tractor, but the clutch died with only 425 hrs on the clock. Cant get it economically repaired (more than the tractor is worth), so I retired it. I can't give it away, so it's a lawn ornament now. I didn't pay anything for it, it came with the property.

Nah, no sleeper. And Captain Kirk can keep his chair.

Didn't cost any more than my wifes new car. LOL!
