People angry at Bush? Hmmm. Well, I guess there's going to be a bunch of pissed off people after November because Bush is still going to be in the White House.

"There are people who just really, really hate this person." I think this is true, and because of a few reasons. 1) Bush is openly Christian and some people just can't abide it, 2) Bush speaks of the War on Terror as a battle against evil, and that conflicts with the left, which is that there is no evil, only bad circumstances, and 3) Bush is not afraid to invade a country to protect us against Terror, and the elft simply hates the use of the military in wars for national interest.

Not worried about those on the left who despise Bush. They think via emotion; nothing on the right will satisfy their wishes.
What concerns me more is who Kerry will pick as his running mate. My guess is that it will be Edwards.
He is smooth, well spoken, and good looking; he will be very attractive to the soccer mom crowd.
If he starts talking about how everything he does is "for the children" he'll put the soccer mom's in a tizzy, possibly escalating them into "Gone With The Wind" fantasies.
In addition, if he plays on how much he enjoys watching NASCAR, we on the right might be in trouble.

There is genuine anger on the left and the cause is obvious. He showed they were bombastic, defeatist fools. Their pride does not enjoy that. It is not complicated.

The Dems need to get over it. This kind of hate is not healthy.
This is TOTALLY media drummed up and pushed. The media are transferring their hate to compliant dems. I am sick of hearing this.
When it comes to it, the thought of a Kerry, Edwards, etc. in the WH makes me sick--not because of them personally, but because of what it would mean for this country.

If the "Left" had any brains they'd be angry at Saddam, or those who attacked America......I'm so sick of hearing how "angry" they are at President Bush. They are like petulant little teenagers angry at their parents....sheesh.

A Bush opponent can vote against the president only once in November, no matter how intense the anger.Riiiight. Keep believing that one, and I have some oceanfront property I'd like to sell you. Cheap.

Just for perspective, here's what a previous President had to say the last time we had this many hysterically angry Americans:
My countrymen, one and all, think calmly and well, upon this whole subject. Nothing valuable can be lost by taking time. If there be an object to hurry any of you, in hot haste, to a step which you would never take deliberately, that object will be frustrated by taking time; but no good object can be frustrated by it. Such of you as are now dissatisfied still have the old Constitution unimpaired, and, on the sensitive point, the laws of your own framing under it; while the new administration will have no immediate power, if it would, to change either. If it were admitted that you who are dissatisfied, hold the right side in the dispute, there still is no single good reason for precipitate action. Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity, and a firm reliance on Him, who has never yet forsaken this favored land, are still competent to adjust, in the best way, all our present difficulty.
-Abraham Lincoln, First Inaugural Address, March 4 1861
