Edwards' wife looks like she'd bake you cookies. Teresa looks like she'd smash them on your forehead. I agree - under the circumstances, I'd rather see Kerry as the candidate.

Oh yes, I agree. With Kerry there will be a real contrast in style in addition to policy, and I truly think most Americans prefer the style of the Bush family.

Edwards and Bush, and their wives, are similar in their down-home, down-to-earth ways, and theirs are both first and only marriages. Much harder to short-hand the differences with Edwards as the opponent.
