President Bush's plan to overhaul immigration policy with a temporary worker program has little chance of passing this year, a congressman said. Probably for the best. The President's heart is in the right place, and at least his proposal might stimulate discussion on what to do about the problem.

Well, we all know the road to Hell is paved with Good Intentions (Campaign FInance Reform, New Trillion-Dollar entitlements for Granny's pills, 20% increase in funding for the NEA, billions in new spending on Education, ad nauseum).
