Yep. It's time to wake up and unplug from The Matrix.

This is Bush "rope-a-dope". Let the Rats climb out on that limb, let them get more and more outrageous... Let them put more and more chips on the table. I'll bet there's more shock and awe coming. If I were working with Karl Rove, I'd have been planning it since January 2000.

I've rather enjoyed listening to this one-sided conversation. All the childish emotion has just revealed the level of irrelevancy promoted by the DNC. They've been reduced to recycling the same conversation over and over. And that there has been little RNC response is driving them crazy. I hope W stays the course and waits until the nominee is selected. Can you say PUNK'D?

Apart from Secretary of State and a few other positions, just what does the President have to do with the employment rate?

I have one question for John F'ing Kerry to answer.

Just how do you intend to create jobs?

Their frenzy (DNC + media) is ample evidence that we're doing something right!

The President's numbers are holding steady in spite of the attacks. This means that the public is smarter and the media is frustrated because they are losing their grip on public mind control.

The media is also painting themselves into a corner that is labeled "Liberal biased" to such a degree, that it is doubtful they will be able to reverse the trend that they have created for themselves.

This is by far, the best situation that the Democrats will ever have from here on out, under the circumstances, the Presidents numbers should be much lower than what they currently are and the Democrats know it. People are also becoming skeptical about these so called "polls" because the results have varied back and forth contradicting the outcome. The public sees them as a media tool to manipulate voter opinion to favor their candidate and nothing more.

The President simply has to wait until the primaries are over and the Democrat spin machine runs out of gas. They went into high gear way too fast and too soon. The Republicans are waiting for the right moment to call the wrecker and haul them to the junk yard where they belong.

I saw the poll referenced in the above article on Drudge. BUT, I also saw another poll on Drudge. A Zogby poll showing Bush winning decisively in all the "red" states and trailing by slim margins in the Blue states. This means, of course, that victories in the red states guarentees four more years.

The media continue to ignore the electoral college. Why is it important if Kerry wins every vote in New York or California - the electors only vote once. Bush could lose the popular vote, again, and would still be legitimately elected.

Hold you fire till you see the whites of their eyes

In the RAT's case, it should read, HOLD YOUR FIRE TILL YOU SEE THE WHITES OF THEIR LIES!

Let us take this back to the early days in which John Kerry was refining his eventual run for the White House. As a resume enhancement of the time (1968), it was good politics to serve as an officer, preferably the Navy. John Kerry really had little intention of being deployed to a forward area, that was an error of self-placement. He was a lover, not a fighter, and it was bad judgment on the part of superior officers to order him to river patrol. John was thrown in the position of having to look good in front of the men, and this may have propelled him to chase the hapless wounded Viet Cong behind the hut, and grease him there. It is not known if John took any body trophies, a practice he freely attributed to other GIs in Viet Nam, as he reported this sort of thing was pretty widespread. You know, like the cutting off of ears, or fingers, or genitals. Of the 200,000 or so Vietnamese civilians the rampaging US troops over there were killing every year, there HAD to be a lot of that going on. At least we have this on good authority from John himself.

Let's see.

Kerry is only even or slightly ahead.

This is after uncountered barrages from the nine Democrats, plus all the satellite screed-merchants like MoveOn.org.

Yet, Bush continues to out-fundraise Kerry, who is spending his money, while Bush isn't.

Kerry, as the one who came from off the radar screen after Howard Dean chewed his own leg off, also hasn't been vetted by the average voter-- he's just the latest name getting attention.

Meanwhile, the Rats are playing their cards, which should be old news by the time election day rolls around, while all the dirty laundry about Kerry just builds up in the laundry basket.

It looks to me like it's just a matter of letting the water rise and keeping your powder dry-- then, when the time is right, you can overwhelm the opposition with greater resources, greater ammunition, and greater reserves.

And that's not to mention, every time a good economic post comes out, their support gets whittled away a little more. The next job report will be a pretty good indicator of the amount of ground Bush will be able to close, and how soon.

Overall, the situation is not dire, and the advantages continue to accrue to the Good Guys....I think I'm staying cautioously optimistic.

It was clear that this was the dem strategy when they began the new campaign 2.5 years before the next election. I wrote about it then, that the point was complicity between the media and the dems to enable the media to broadcast negative information against the president with impunity by calling it "news."

In the future, it will probably be necessary to counteract this strategy by running a real republican primary

Primaries weaken incumbents. Bush is keeping his powder dry, nothing to worry about. Kerry's negatives will be rising exponentially in short order.

Primaries weaken, but "show primaries" wouldn't necessarily have to draw blood against our guy....only against theirs.

It would be a staged event and not a serious one.

There was an article recently that the President's campaign 9 mos ahead .. so far ahead they were already making plans for buses to take people to the election polls.

And .. it has also been said that the WH is waiting for the dems to pick a nominee. Why they're waiting I don't know .. but it's not the first time they've run a campaign so I'll just have to trust their judgment.

It will be interesting to see if Edwards goes against the dim/media's plan and goes after Kerry. (debates, attacks, etc.)

So far, they have all been singing the same chorus of Bush bashing. If he goes against Kerry, then the media will have to prop up one or the other. Will Edwards lose his VP chance? Did he ever have one? Will the media boost him above Kerry? What's an empty suit to do?
