A vote for a liberal or moderate is a vote for a liberal or moderate, regardless of what party label they wear.

Good point. Just because a candidate has an (R) attached to his name does not make necessarily make him conservative.

Sort of like voting on whether to have 1 toe or 2 toes removed this year.

I will vote for 0 toes lost, even if it means I lose 2 or even 3 toes.

I refuse to continue to agree to lose toes. I refuse to swell the numbers and apparent support for the single toe cutters...

(Are "toes cut off" rediculous to discuss like this? Of course they are. So insert one or more of the following in place of the toes:
constitutional rights changed, redefined or abolished
percentage of income taken
number of liberal (or conservative)judges appointed
number of no-knock raids resulting in death of innocents
number of schools raided by police with guns drawn
number of states allowing same sex "anything"
millions of babies aborted
billions in aid to foreign interrests
number of interns boffed or offed
homeowners incarcerated for defending their families
millions of aliens crossing the border
millions of acres of forest logged, burned, or denied to loggers
number of "endangered" predator species re-introduced to suburban neighborhoods
number of arkencides
secrets sold to foreign interrests
millions of jobs shipped overseas
number of thoughts, ideas, books, weapons, etc. banned
new/raised taxes
military bases either closed or opened
wars started, won or lost
etc.

In other words, whichever side you are on of whatever arguement you are interrested in, vote for someone who actually at least claims to represent your convictions. If everyone voted their convictions instead of playing a historically doomed "prevent defense", there would be a nice conservative party winning consistently in this country.)
