I said they are both elitist rich guys from the east

GW was raised in the Texas oil patch and went to school in the East just like a lot of Texans. His parents live in Houston and are Texan to the bone. You on the other hand are someone that believes "family connections" are the only way someone could possibly be more successful than you. It is sour grapes writ large.

Who said I have sour grapes because GW is successful. I am happy for those who do well. In fact I am a huge advocate of success as every conservative should be. But if one becomes successful he or she shouldn't have to pay for those who aren't successful (i.e. welfare).

If you are born into the Bush family you damn well better be respectable and successful. By having your dad as the head of the CIA and then a senator, vice president, and then president you should utilize those connections to become somewhat successful.

As far as you taking this little argument to a personal level. I have been very successful in my 25 years on this planet. I graduated 4th in my high school class, I was accepted into one of the top 7 universities in America and I am now in a very prestigious Law school in Tennessee. By the way I paid the majority of my way through(the rest being loans the size of a nice little Hyundai). I am in my second year of law school studying corporate law (more specific bankruptcy). I am kicking arse and I know I will do well so to insinuate that I am jealous of GWB because he is the president is outrageous.

I respect GWB but if I had the same family as him I would be the president(in fact the first black president). But you don't seem to adequately refute what I said. Bush is a northeastern. He went to an northeastern high school, college and graduate school. that totals 10 to 12 years of northeastern indoctrination at very pinnacle parts of his young adult life and he does carry that into his politics, hence his amnesty and prescription handouts to old fogies.

This isn't class warfare as the Roebucks' live about 5 miles from my house. I have attended schools comparable to Bush's only difference is that I didn't have any advantages besides my 1480 SAT and 4.2 GPA(my father had to put his foot in my arse a few times to maintain it) and with those scores coming out of High School one doesn't need AA to get partial scholarships.

So I know that advantages such as better schooling and good homes helps people out, but having a POTUS in your family helps a little bit too.
