Some parents accept and respect their children for who they are.

When one of them dies? I was there. I saw him die day by day. I saw the life seep out of his eyes. I watched a gregarious extrovert become a couch potato. Unless you've walked in my shoes, you have no right to be the least bit judgmental.

When someone starts something with, oh say, "Not to dismiss the trauma your family has experienced . . ." you can bet that's just EXACTLY what they're about to do . . . and you did.

Are you a parent? If so, you're saying you would accept and respect "anything" your children did? Homosexuality's okay with you? Fine. How about bestiality? Satan Worshipping? Incest?

That's the problem we have now days . . . there is no right and wrong. There is no morality no-no's. Everyone is afraid of taking a stand, of acting on their convictions.

Sounds like your died from disappointment and heartbreak. What happened to your sister in law and the kids?

No, I meant that with all sincereity and respect. It would be nice if you could be gracious enough to give me the benefit of the doubt.

I believe people have a choice in how they respond to adversity, that's all I'm saying.
