Kerry's dirty campaign will only serve to energize the Conservative base. Many who would have stayed home or voted third party will show up to vote for W out of hatred for Jean Cheri.

- There is nothing anyone can say about Bush to cost him votes except Bush himself and even that is debatable.
- There is no sane and patriotic alternative to reelecting President Bush.
- Those who love this country know what to do.
- The rest are ungrateful parasites, socialists, ignorant, abusers, deviants, traitors, and Democrats who would vote for Saddam Hussein if it meant they could defeat George Bush.

I went to DU today too, just to see how they felt about Drudge's news today.
One or two of them were smart enough to realize that this wasn't Rove's doing. Rove would have at least waited until September if he had such information. Plus, Drudge based his story on Clark's comments, so those idiots must have believed that Clark is under Rove's evil sway too.
My favorite post of the day was by some genius over there who insisted that even Sharpton could beat Bush in November. He wasn't joking. The dweeb seriously has himself convinced that Americans are all going to wake up over the next few months and realize that DU has been right all along - then whoever the Dem ticket is - they will trounce Bush. Not just win - trounce. Even a Sharpton/Kucinich ticket.
I swear, he wasn't joking.

"...all this stuff they are pulling will serve as the rope that hangs them...."
Don't bet on it. Negative ads do work. The Bush team needs to start fighting back. Fast.

I wonder what his Freeper handle is.
I have a DUh userid which I toy with sometimes. Doesn't everyone?
(I wonder how long before this post ends up on DUh. BTW, I may NOT have a DUh ID. Who knows. :) )

Should I call you a dictator- loving murderer? After all, if twits like you were in power, the mass graves would still be filling and Saddam would still be firing at our planes.

Nothing is off limits to these people.Good! As soon as they open Pandora's Box the administration can unload the tons of evidence of the evil that the xlintons and the demons have been doing and perhaps we can terminate their filth, once and for all.
xlinton soiled everything that he came in contact with, foremost, our country, but I feel that he has also pounded the deathnail into his corrupt party of liars and traitors.

I just have to say, that I have lived overseas for a long time and had only access to foreign media for the most part. I kept up on US politics through the Internet, but had never heard of Free Republic until my sister clued me in at Thanksgiving.
I had absolutely NO IDEA that politics had gotten so dirty. I was disgusted with the whole 2000 election thing with Gore's antics and thought that he had pathetically grasped at every straw even after every single Florida count showed he had lost. (I was a Florida absentee voter by the way!!!!) but I had no idea the left has become so evil and vile. I always thought they were just bumbling fools, and of course and US expats we were mortified to admit that that bastard Clinton was our President.
With all that, I say "good". Let them pile on. After a very short time, the majority of people will see through it and be so thoroughly turned off as to never vote for a single Democrat again. I truly believe this. They will become the boys who cried "wolf". However, I think we should try to take the high road, and fight back with FACTS always conducting ourselves with honor and dignity. They will look like fools and we will emerge clean and victorious!
So glad I found FR, I feel like I"m finally HOME!!!!

I stopped by DU as well. I saw a lot of posters accusing each other of being trolls as they argued about Kerry. Good stuff.
They're doing it here, on an article called
You're as corrupt as Bush, Dean tells Kerry (warning, DUmb content!)

George Bush drove an ex-girlfriend to an abortion clinic and paid for her to get an abortionWould that have been illegal?
Wouldn't that get him liberal support?
