Thanks for posting this, Hildy. I was curious about the story ever since I saw the Enquirer in the checkout line. I never pick them up for fear of an illness I learned about as a child - cooties.

This just conjures up mental pictures, especially after that motorcyle entrance on late night tv, of butt-less chaps, leather, and Gary Condit.

Did Carly Simon know Kerry back in the day? Everyone speculates she wrote "You're So Vain" about either Warren Beatty or Mick Jagger -- maybe it was Kerry? ;)

For months at a time, he found himself homeless, forced to live with lobbyist friends or his former brother-in-law, David Thorne.

Oh yeah...this is the guy who claims that he'll do a better job with the economy than President Bush. The loser can't even pay for room and board without his wife's money...that certainly inspires confidence.

Thanks for posting!

Isn't it odd that every tv cablenews network immediately ran the NE's story on Rush, with no qualms of it's accuracy, but so far, I haven't seen a peep of this or Drudge's headline on CNN, MSNBC, or FOX? Has anyone else?

Per Rush, Clark to be on CNN @ 3:30 est; will they ask Gen. Clark about this-Hah!

A family member claimed the name Kerry was chosen by dropping a pencil on a map of Europe. The pencil landed on County Kerry in Ireland.

And if you buy that one I think you'd be interested in purchasing shares in an enterprise to construct a bridge connecting lower Manhattan with Long Island.
