We need to find out if the head of his vets for hanoi john are some of his old protest buddies.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight - nothing he cares about more than his own personal safety - is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions and blood of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill -

Just read a post asking if we could find out who wrote the citation for Kerry's medals .. wondering if he could've written them himself. That thought brought to mind my immedite reaction when viewing TV news of the Vet whose life Kerry had saved ... who is a Republican .. but who is going to vote for Kerry .... etc. My reaction? Flowery & warm, til it was mentioned they hadn't seen each other for those 30+ years.... and now all of a sudden they're in view of the whole world hugging on TV?? Something's not right! You'd think there'd be evidence of his wife/girlfriend, his Mom .. or at least his Grandma, having written "thank you" note .. during those 3+ decades, wouldn't ya'?
