you're right, that's probably the only decent thing he has done. The more that I see these "veterans" support him, I question how many of them really are vets. There has been a cottage industry of "vets" speaking out and making curious statements that there supposed to be "expert" in.
I still don't understand how this guy that he "saved" popped up all of a sudden after >30 yrs - where was he in the interim? He's running for President and now he finds him! No character!

The 'vets' in the campaign probably are the same phony "vets" who made up the fables that were the anti-war 'winter soldier' agit-prop.

This is a well-known agit-prop technique btw.
It's akin to the media finding a Republican willing to be peeled off into the socialist view on an issue to then say ... "even some Republicans admit ...yada yada yada ..."
