FWIW, Russert was disgraceful in attacking Bush with these loaded questions... totally one-sided, he would never pound Kerry, Clinton, or other top Dems with a constant bombardment of questions.
Bush didn't fare as well as I had hoped. His responses were disjointed, almost always stayed on the defensive, and when he had an opportunity to be aggressive and fight back (i.e.- when asked about Kerry's constant bombardments against him, and the AWOL charges), Bush simply said it's politics, rather than saying that it's a disgrace that he's constantly being attacked with lies and half-truths...
Bush's team had better start fighting back, before it's too late. I'll say it again, Cheney is a liability and should consider stepping aside and become a senior adviser.
You want him to look like a whiner, or like a big boy who realizes there will be criticism, and can take it without cracking?
Illustrating again that one person's liability is another's asset. I thank God for VP Cheney. He has done nothing wrong or unethical to warrant the liability tag. To accept such is to accept the lies the dems tell about him: "Halliburton", "Pushed the CIA on Niger", etc.
To capitulate to dem demands that Cheney go (and that's what it is) based on lies would be a disgrace.
